Maicon Steuernagel and Carolina Rau came from Brazil to Norway in the autumn of 2010. They became involved with OiC from the very beginning of their time here, and Maicon has been the pastor since autumn 2011.

Maicon has studied Theology and Social Anthropology and shares his time between OiC and NMS. Carolina finished her PhD and is now working on her post-doc at the University of Oslo. They love cooking and sharing life around a good meal.

Their sons Oliver and Benjamin were both born in Oslo and are deciphering how to juggle all these identities and languages. They enjoy camping, building with Legos, swimming, and playing with friends as they grow up in this multicultural environment.
