Our annual winter day is a great way to enjoy a day in the snow together!
We’ll start out by making a fire where you can cook your lunch, so bring something to grill if you like. A sitteunderlag (mat) is also recommended, for when we sit around the fire. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can go sledding, skiing, or just play in the snow! Please bring your own skis or sled if you have them.
Please remember to dress warmly!
You may also be able to try your hand at ice fishing! You’ll need to buy a fiskekort if you’re over 18. We’ll have some equipment for you to try. Remember the Isvetregler any time you plan to go on the ice.

Ways to reach Øvresetertjern:
- Take the t-bane (subway) to Voksenkollen, then walk up the hill to the fire pits by Øvresetertjern.
- Drive to Øvreseter Ufartsparkering Oslo kommune and cross the road to the fire pits.
