This is the day when we celebrate the constitution of Norway. And this year, it is 200 years since we got it!
Everyone will be out in the street, either walking in the children’s parade or watching it. Wearing national costumes from different parts of the country. Eating lots of ice cream and sausages!
We in OiC will gather in the morning, at 09:30, together with KIA, for breakfast. It is in the 2nd floor at Misjonssalen (where the Norwegian classes are), Tullinsgate 4. To get there, it is possible to take the T-bane to Nationaltheateret and walk from there. Normally trikk 11, 17 and 18 passes by, but they will most probably not run on that day.
After, we will go together, or in groups, to watch the parade. So bring your Norwegian flag and join in! The parade will be from around 10 to 13.
From 15 and onwards there will be barbeque, not too far from the Kings castle. The address is Lyder Sagens gate 7.
Bring whatever you want to barbecue, we will have ice cream supplies. It is plenty of room, so bring a friend if you want; everyone is welcome to, most likely, the most international celebration of the national day!:)
